USA Young Gun Here For Boys Race & King of the Wings



West Australian Sprintcar champion Ryan Farrell together with team owner John Farrell would like to announce t recruitment of Knoxville USA Sprintcar young gun Kaley Gharst to the W95 team for the Krikke Boys race at Bunbury City Speedway & King of The Wings at the Perth Motorplex in march 2008.

Ryan Farrell & Kaley Gharst are team mates when Ryan runs his USA program in Knoxville and in Ryan’s own words “This kids got some serious talent”

Kaley is only 19 years old and already holds some major victories at the famous Knoxville Raceway in both 410s & 360s, and touring Australia had been a dream of his for long time.

1993 Kaley began racing Quarter Midgets. He was just 4 1/2 years old when he drove his first quarter midget. He was trained by Oldie Triplett in Lincoln, IL. Over the next couple of years he had many wins and fast times. Some of which were track records and still stand today.

1996 Kaley was the Jr. Stock Grand National Champion setting fast time, track record and winning the grand’s.

1997 Kaley started racing Jr. Sprints. In his first year he placed 5th in the Nation.

1998 Kaley had many victories, track records and multiple State Championships.  He won the Nationals and placed number 1 in the Nation at the age of 10

1999 Switched to racing Bandeleros. He raced at Atlanta Motor speedway, Lowe's Motor speedway and Speeddrome. He won both the Illinois and Indiana State Championships.

2000 Started racing 600 Mini Sprints at the age of 12. In the first 600 Outlaw Nationals he finished 8th racing against much older kids and men. Raced 600's for three years with many victories.

2003 Bought our first 410 Sprint Car in the middle of the season. At the age of 14 he ran with the IRA at Jacksonville, IL. And the Tommy Knowles Memorial at Canton making the A main in both.

2004 This was the first full year running 410 Sprint Cars. Ran the Mid American Sprint Car Series and placed 6th in the points.

2005 Knoxville Nationals Rookie of the Year and also the 2005 Knoxville Raceway Rookie of the Year at the age of 17.

2006 Two Knoxville Feature Wins!!! One of the youngest drivers to do this & 2007 again many feature wins at Knoxville Raceway.

Kaley will make an exciting addition to the already powerful Bunbury Mitsubishi Sprintcar team, sharing set up information and just becoming team mates is what make great racers and together these two are electric.
