Flyan Ryan Release
After a very successful 2006/07 sprintcar season, Ryan Farrell is looking at 07/08 with a much wider view than seasons before.
After a record 8 main event wins at the Perth Motorplex, current Western Australian Sprintcar Champion “Flyan” Ryan Farrell will compete on both sides of the country during the 2007/08 speedway season.
All the big shows have been selected by Farrell to compete in Perth such as Opening Night Showdown, 3 rounds of World Series Sprintcars, Krikke Boys, State Title & King of the Wings.
All these races will again feature the famous familiar color scheme of the W95 for the boys Russell Halls Bunbury Mitsubishi Maxim that has made “Flyan” Ryan a household name in WA Speedway. “Without a doubt Bear I want another WA title for the team but the one in my radar is the Boys race in March, I am due for this one and I will get it one of these days”
Adding to Ryan’s program this season is the 23+ nights he will compete at Parramatta City Raceway this season, he will be driving for the Rod Maxwell’s Bestway Industries N9 at Parramatta, already blowing the three year old track record out the window on opening night.
One of Ryan’s biggest goals this season is to win a main event in Sydney, with some of Australia’s major blue ribbon races at the Granville circuit such as $50,ooo to win, outlaws down under, World Series & the big one the Australian Sprintcar Title, A race he has run well at in the past.
If that’s not enough Ryan will also join forces with Matt Eastham from Victory lane race gear in Victoria for major races throughout South Australia, Victoria & maybe even Tasmania, Ryan and Matt have paired very well in the past and are both keen to tackle it all on again.
One of the biggest highlights of Ryan Farrell career so far was spending this Australian winter racing at the world famous Knoxville Raceway, this has been a goal of Ryan’s for some time and to finally get there at those speeds he said was just awesome.
He had so much fun he is going back in 2008.
