Have just finished preparing Ryan's car for this Saturday night so he can run in Sydney. Back in the #9N car owned by John & Rod Maxwell for this week and Sydney siders will be lucky as he will be racing here for the next 4 weeks, (17th & 24th of this month then 1st and 8th of Dec). Not sure what it is but the Farrell Factor always seems to lift most that run against him.

Pretty excited to be a part of WSS again next month with Ryan as our driver, Gary Laneyrie who is Ryan's crew chief here in Sydney has been doing a stellar job and he can certainly get a car hooked up around TPCR so if the engine can remain reliable we hope to go pretty good. So far this season we have bagged the 1 lap record at 11.6 sec's, a top ten and a second from our three runs. Up till the first meeting Ryan missed at TPCR he was third in the overall points in the track championship.

We had engine drama's with the car last time out but still managed second spot on the podium, the engine dropped a push rod in the dash (at the time we didn't know) prior to the A Main and we ran the entire A Main on 7 cylinders so some repairs have been done to the motor since then. We are a tad down on horse power and the engine could do with a freshen but we are going with what we got and we are aiming to make the podium as often as we can (gee there's some rocket science, who wouldn't want to make the podium).

Hope to go well as the car is a heap more reliable than when we started the season. A whole bunch of work has gone into the car and it will hopefully start to work out for us.

This year has been one that I would rather forget but I am so I'm grateful to have been afforded this opportunity by Ryan to be looking after the car he is driving here in Sydney. But not half as lucky as I will be come the first weekend in March as I am heading west to take in the awesome action of the best sprintcar meeting Australia has to offer "The Krikkie Boys Shootout". The atmosphere, the passion and the racing is something that this little black duck will never miss as long as my arse points to the ground. I have the fondest memories of the "Bunno Bullring" and I have been blessed to have met the nicest people in the west and to have been able to spend time to get to know you, to have shared in a small part of your lives and to have been welcomed into your homes. I guess I just want to say thanks.

Please accept my invitation that if at any time any of you are heading east or south (depending on what part of this great land of ours you are from) to watch the racing or even in the off season if you have stuff to do, my front door is always open and you are more than welcome to stay.

If its cool with you guys I would like to keep you updated with Ryan's racing here in Sydney, It won't be as in depth as the race reporting that I used to churn out a while back that went on the net but more on a personal level,  If you don't want to get the updates or you have another email address you would prefer me to send it to then just let me know.

The busy part of the season is upon us Sprintcar Racing, There is nothing else like it
