Farrell To Drive The V5 At Australian Sprintcar Title

Five Time Western Australian Sprintcar champion "Flyan" Ryan Farrell is set to drive the Max Dumsney V5 Valvoline Maxim at this weekends re run of the Australian Sprintcar Title at Parramatta City Raceway on Saturday Night.

With Max Dumsney side lined with a wrist injury from the Krikke Boys Shootout weekend and Ryan Farrell's car stuck in Perth it was an obvious choice for Dumsney Motorsport to choose Farrell to race the car this weekend.

Ryan goes into this weekends re run in 13th position in points and can make that better with a run in the scramble prior to the A Main event. His form at Parramatta has been good in 2007/08 & driving a familiar combination this weekend will make this combination of Farrell/Dumsney a lethal mixture.

The Australian Sprintcar Title is a race that is high on his agenda & being able to do this at PCR in one of Australia's best rides is a dream come true for Ryan he said to me prior to getting on the plane today.

"When Max rang me this morning I just about crashed my car, I couldn't believe it, but I can see where he is coming from and what they are trying to achieve and I don't plan on letting him down. This combination is some thing I am used to so after we hot lap all should be good to go. Max needs to honor his commitments to his sponsors and it was near impossible for our team to get the car back to Sydney for one race, so this has worked out really well and I am looking forward to it immensely. I would like to thank a few people for helping get this deal together first of all Max for calling me and believing in me enough to represent his team, this means more to me than anyone could imagine, also Mouse Green for allowing me to do this & Steve Caunt who people might not know but he also offered me his car to drive at this meeting and was 100% behind me getting into the V5 car this weekend, Steve & I will do some thing this year together for sure and I am also looking forward to that"

look out for the V5 this weekend at PCR with the same speed just a different driver on board.
